We are lucky to have a covered patio for our BBQ and can grill all year round. Yesterday, even in the downpour, we decided to have a nice festive dinner. I found this marinade on Canadian Living and instantly fell in love.
The recipe calls for the juice and zest of an orange. Now, I’ll be honest, we actually bought Tangelos instead but decided to try it out anyways!After that, you mix in A LOT of flavour with tomato paste, chili powder, garlic powder and dried oregano.
Toss the chicken breasts in the bag to cover thoroughly and put in the fridge for 4 hours.
We had a late dinner so my grill shots are a little dark. Crazy how the sun is setting so much earlier already!
And voila. Crispy sweet and spicy Tangelo Chili Chicken right off the grill.
